The strategy of this Programme is not to recruit large numbers of Cadets, but the right candidates for our organisation. We are committed to creating an effective mentorship journey for all Cadets.

Cadets will be given priority to sail with Alcrew and partners as Officers after the completion of their Cadetship programme.

Our Process

1. Pre-Sea – Depending on your college and course of studies, this stage may take from 6 months up to 3 years consisting of pre-sea training, assessments, simulations, theoretical knowledge, etc. to prepare you for sailing.
2. Sailing – Alcrew will provide our Cadets with the required amount of sailing time required by their issuing authority.
3. Examination – After obtaining the required amount of time at sea and completing their course of studies, Cadets will be eligible to sit for their final exams with their issuing authority.

Upon successful completion of their final exams, Cadets will be given priority to continue their career as Officers onboard our vessels
